GENERAL RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. Reservations

2. Confirmation of the slot and access to the Family Area on the website

Confirmation of the slot will be issued once we receive the payment and the form indicated. At this point we will give you access to our restrictedaccess Family Area on our website, from which you will be able to:
 
 
Receive notifications and download documents.
Make second payments up to a week before the camp.
Access baggage information and recommendations.
 
 
 
View the photos of the camp in which your child is participating.
Follow the News section on the camp’s blog.
 
 
* CEI El Jarama reserves the right to decide whether to admit the child who is the subject of this reservation. In the event that a child may not attend any of the CEI El Jarama camps, either because he or she does not comply with the age limits established, or for any other reason, CEI El Jarama will proceed to refund the corresponding amount, and the reservation will be automatically cancelled. The reservation should not be considered confirmed until this is expressly indicated by CEI El Jarama
 
 
 

3. Voluntary reservation cancellations

Voluntary cancellations of a reservation are to be requested in writing from CEI El Jarama and to be signed by the same person who made the reservation. These cancellations will entail the following retentions of the amount paid:

  • 60 days or more before the camp starts: 25% retention.
  • 30-59 days before the camp starts: 50% retention.
  • 15-29 days before the camp starts: 75% retention.

 
 

If the cancellation is made in the 14 days prior to the camp’s commencement, or later, there will be no right to any refund. The cancellation date, for the purpose of calculating the retentions stipulated, shall be considered the date on which the cancellation letter is received by CEI El Jarama.

If the cancellation occurs because the participant is hospitalized, or has suffered from an illness that prevents them from attending the camp in the year in question, they will be entitled to reimbursement of the amounts paid till the date. This type of cancellation will require a medical certificate attesting to the grounds 75% retention. for the cancellation.

 
 
 

4. Change of modality or camp date

CEI El Jarama allows changes in camp dates and/or the modality. Whenever it is possible to change the camp, pending confirmation of availability by CEI El Jarama, it shall be done.
 
 
 

5. Voluntarily camp departure

In the event of voluntary departure from the camp, of non-attendance by the enrollee, joining in after the start of the camp, expulsion, or departures freely decided by campers’ parents or legal representatives, including those due to homesickness, or a lack of adaptation by the participant, no amounts previously paid will be refunded.

In cases of duly justified injuries or illnesses, or force majeure circumstances, the following amounts will be refunded:

Daycamps:: €25/day for the number of remaining days not spent.

Residential camps: 50€/day for the number of remaining days not spent.

 
 

* In no case, do refunds include plane, train, bus tickets or any other means of transportation to camp.

 
 

6. Force Majeure

CEI El Jarama undertakes to provide participants with all the contracted services indicated in its commercial information, in accordance with the conditions and characteristics stipulated therein. Nevertheless,
 
 
a. is forced to close one or more camps after they have started, in response to a recommendation by an official body (e.g. in the event of an outbreak of a communicable disease), or due to other acts of nature (floods, earthquakes, etc.), the participant will receive a refund proportional to the part of the camp never enjoyed.
b. CEI El Jarama will have the right to cancel a camp if the minimum number of campers required is not reached (40 people). In this case CEI El Jarama will notify the participant in writing, prior to the start date of the camp, that the minimum number of participants has not been reached and that, therefore, the camp has been cancelled. In this case the participant will be entitled to reimbursement of all amounts paid for the camp, including the deposit. The participant will not, however, be entitled to compensation for any damages that this outcome may produce.
